Digital Realty has achieved a 4.5-star NABERS Energy rating for its Sydney Erskine Park data centre infrastructure. The NABERS Energy rating is based on the operational and quantitative data for the company’s Erskine Park data centre, with more stars indicating better performance and environmental outcomes, as well as providing an indication of the operational energy efficiency of data centres in Australia.
Sydney is positioned to become a prominent enterprise data powerhouse, it is projected to generate the fourth-fastest growth in the intensity of data gravity by 2024, according to its Data Gravity Index.
