Equus Compute Solutions, a global leader in advanced digital infrastructure solutions, and Ultrascale Digital Infrastructure (UDI), a leading innovator in immersion cooling technologies have formed a strategic partnership to revolutionise data centre liquid cooling technology, reshaping the future of high-performance computing.
The collaboration involves substantial investments in an advanced immersion cooling environment at the Equus Innovation Centre. This facility will serve as a central hub for on-site testing, development, demonstration, and promotion of jointly developed solutions.
The Innovation Centre will be equipped with advanced power and communication capabilities such as 5/6G, Satellite, mmWave, as well as the most advanced Zero-Trust cybersecurity measures. Together, Equus and UDI will spearhead research and development efforts, focusing on immersion cooling equipped micro data centres at the edge.
S. Jay Lawrence, CEO, Equus Compute Solutions said: “We are on the cusp of a technological revolution, and this partnership is a testament to our commitment to innovation. Together with UDI, we are poised to redefine the standards of immersion cooling and high-performance computing.”
Arnold Magcale, Founder of UDI said: “This collaboration marks a significant step forward in our mission to provide state-of-the-art immersion cooling solutions. With Equus by our side, this strengthens our ability to re-imagine data centre cooling, optimise efficiency, improve operations, and minimise environmental impact.”
The partnership is set to commence immediately, with both companies already in the process of co-developing and co-patenting their first range of products. More details about these offerings will be shared in the coming months.
