Soluna steps into AI hosting with co-location agreement

Soluna Holdings, a developer of green data centers for Bitcoin mining and other intensive computing applications, announced a groundbreaking co-location agreement with a GPU startup delivering specialized GPU services for AI computing. This strategic partnership marks a significant step forward in Soluna’s mission to diversify its business into the sustainable AI arena.

The new customer for the AI hosting pilot has selected Project Sophie after a rigorous evaluation process, recognizing Soluna’s commitment to sustainability and scale in AI-related data center operations. Under the terms of the agreement, Soluna Holdings will provide co-location services to the customer at Project Sophie, Soluna’s modular data center facility in Kentucky.
