Ting Internet open new data centre in Colorado

Ting Internet has opened a new data centre and office in Centennial city, Colorado. The data centre is a single-story facility containing two data centres with supporting electrical spaces, a warehouse to support fibre optic installation, and office space.

The 16,000 square foot site contains 2,000 square feet of office space, 12,000 square feet of warehouse space, and 2,000 square feet of data centre space.

Ting Internet, a division of tech company Tucows, first introduced its fibre Internet to Centennial in 2018. The opening of the data centre allows customers to access the Internet faster and also strengthens its redundancy if one fibre path goes down.

Launched in 2012, Ting Internet provides fibre services across a number of cities in the US and is owned by Canadian ISP Tucows.
