Alain Mestat has over 25 years of experience within the financial industry. For 13 years he was a Director with the Edmond de Rothschild Group in Luxembourg acting as Global Head of international marketing, corporate communication and strategic development.

Since 2012 he has been active as a climate finance entrepreneur and environmental sustainability promotor, investing in various clean tech ventures. Since 2019 he has joined the H2ovortex team as a Managing Partner. 

He holds a Bachelor from Brandeis University as well as a Masters in International Finance and Economics from Brandeis University. He is also an Alumni of INSEAD and serves on several boards of international companies as well as local Luxembourg based institutions.
