Ben has over 15 years of experience within the Global Data Centre Sector. He started his Data Centre career with Cushman & Wakefield and more recently with CBRE where he was a Director within their EMEA Data Centres Solutions team before joining Knight Frank to jointly head up their Global Data Centre practise.
During this time he has advised a wide range of multi-national corporate organisations in what is a complicated and challenging area of technical real estate. Although he also has a background of Landlord representation within the Data Centres sector, his main focus area is Tenant representation and core to this is providing global colocation strategy and advisory.
His experiences in dealing with international Data Centre and Business Continuity Space, clients’ requirements holds him in a unique position of being currently one of the very few in the global market who are able to provide corporations and businesses with a technical delivery focus, with experienced expert technical advice.
To date he has personally led and been involved with over 250 global Data Centre transactions, made up of acquisitions, expansions and renewals across EMEA, APAC & LATAM regions. This has incorporated advising over 30 clients in 56 countries in 100+ data centre markets around the world. He has so far advised on 120 MW+ of colocation space, acquired 100MW+ of powered land and disposed of 25MW of technical space.
