Let’s start here: I love technology. And not just the cool aspects of a new gadget; I love empowering people and changing lives. I started out as a systems consultant for a small IT firm. I grew my skills, learned the language of the business, and understood the alignment between tech and the goals of an organization. As part of my career growth, I came to World Wide Fittings and had a blast! I developed a structured IT department with reporting, budgeting, and growth in mind. After accomplishing these goals, I felt it was time to jump back into consulting. I joined MTM and immediately got the chance to work on some amazing projects, with a great team. At MTM, I progressed to become a Director, then a VP, and then, had the opportunity to directly influence the direction of our organization as their CTO. After 7 amazing years, I joined EPAM as their Director of Technology Solutions. There, I worked with the most cutting edge solutions in our industry including AI, Machine Learning, Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Cloud Architecture, Digital Design, and so much more. Leaving EPAM was one of the hardest career decisions I’ve ever made. To this day, I’ll always be an EPAM fan and promote their amazing team of digital engineers. Today, I’m on a new adventure. Inspired to join the team by the amazingly talented Rob Roy, I’m surrounded by innovation and a world-class technology ecosystem. As the EVP of Digital Solutions at Switch, I get to interact with the best and brightest in the cloud, data center, and hyperscale space. I work with our cloud, design, strategy, branding, and marketing teams to help our industry build a sustainable digital future. Outside of my ‘day job,’ I’ve had the honor of being an analyst, speaker, and blogger for some of our industry’s finest publications. I love writing and educating others around some of the most advanced and interesting pieces of technology, and how these tools and solutions can impact and change lives.
