Gil Santaliz is the visionary behind developing NJFX as North America’s preeminent international hub for subsea communications, interconnecting international carriers across three continents. Santaliz developed the concept of “Tier 3 by the Subsea”, the world’s first colocation campus that strategically intersects a carrier-neutral subsea Cable Landing Station meet-me room with an independent Tier 3 colocation facility. This purpose-built facility for high- and low-density data center space; and colocation of subsea systems interconnecting global backbone networks to unique metro fiber assets providing safe, diverse and unique multiple backhaul options. Santaliz was previously the CEO, Founder and Managing Member of 4Connections LLC, a metro fiber network provider he founded in 2001, and that was later sold to Altice. Santaliz earned a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University.
