Sean Farney leads the segment growth supporting Kohler Global Data Center strategy including channel programs, brand awareness and product performance and solutions differentiation. Sean is highly regarded for his vast knowledge and hands-on operator experience, including building & running Microsoft’s Chicago facility, founding & managing data center company Ubiquity Critical Environments, and successfully orchestrating global data center consolidation and cloud migration programs at Fortune 500 companies.
Sean has been an invited speaker at 30+ technology industry events including DatacenterDynamics, Uptime Institute Symposium, 7×24 Exchange, IMN Financing and Investing for Data Centers, CRE Data Center summits, and BisNow. His work in the industry has been highlighted by The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Fast Company, Information Week and 451 Research. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Miami University and a Master’s in Information Technology from Northwestern University where he teaches a graduate seminar in Data Center Technologies.
