The term sustainability encourages action towards improvement in almost every aspect of our daily lives – data centers included. The rise in popularity of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Reporting is demanding changes around how data centers are built, operated and managed, with these changes helping companies to secure investment by helping them meet their sustainability targets. Join Pol to find out why switching to Immersion Cooling is the logical step for companies today. Pol will be joined by Andreea Constantinescu, Head of Climate Technology Investments at Planet First Partners and Sergio Henrique Collaço de Carvalho, Head of Impact at Planet First Partners.

The ever increasing power consumption of individual chips makes the introduction of liquid cooling, in one form or another, unavoidable. This leads naturally to distribution of a coolant with the white space, leading to understandable concerns from the investor and operating community. Plastic pipes are state-of-the-art technology in semi-conductor fabs, offshore industry, chemical handling and many more highly demanding global industries. GFs in-house engineering support, its global network of fabrication shops, as well as its wide portfolio of products will help you achieve the demanding goals facing mission critical facilities the next years. Join Mark Bulmer, with 25 years of experience of engineered plastic pipes in core and critical environments, to hear how liquid cooling and plastics pipes can help you achieve the carbon neutral data center of the future.

Data centers are using more power than ever to power our digital world and we must keep improving data center efficiency to be sustainable. Liquid cooling can reduce the power consumed by data centers. Data center operators are concerned about leaks, downtime, unfamiliarity with liquid cooling and worries about vendor supply chains. Negative pressure liquid cooling eliminates the fear of leaks, N+1 CDUs and air back up cooling makes downtime unlikely, and automatic coolant quality control prevents problems in coolant chemistry. Open and honest discussion about problems and solutions can allow liquid cooling to proliferate and open the door to energy and carbon savings.
