Future-tech and the African Data Centres Association have recently published a joint white paper on the future of data centre standards across Africa. Over the last 2 years Future-tech has been engaged on a number of large scale design and consultancy projects in 5 African countries. Each project has been at least 10MW in size and most significant multiples of that figure, demonstrating the rapid growth of digital infrastructure and data centres in particular across the region. Beyond Africa Future-tech has completed both design and master planning projects in 14 different countries over the last 3 years.
